Google Street View

When my friend Benjy and I were doing an installation in San Diego,
we spotted the Google Street View car coming down the road. We
waved, and they finally posted the pictures. I think they fuzzed out
our faces... but Benjy is wearing one of my T-shirts, the one with
the Jager-woman on it.

I am always inspired when I look at the sculptures of Jean Tinguely,
"Eureka" is an awesome piece that is in Zurich, but I wish I could
have seen some of his "self-destructive" machines. Just read a
description of "Homage to New York" from 1960: "the 27-foot-high
assemblage came to life for 27 minutes before it was put down
by MoMA guards." Put down?!
